For those of you that have been out and about all weekend and week, I salute you. I am in good company. Im very proud of my activity in getting out to the festivities that surround us. Why not? Once in a lifetime experience, though Indy is doing a phenomenal job and maybe this will be the first of many. While Id like to go into depth of everything thats been going on lately, I feel I owe you just a recap of the shuffle Ive been maintaining during super bowl week. I highly encourage you all do the same and to continue the theme! I highly doubt you’ll regret it.
Attending everything from Pauly D, to Pattie Labelle, to Dierks Bentley, to Village People, feeling like a true city girl and walking around with my subway and salads- eating on the move (which I normally hate) after teaching special extended super bowl week classes, and amidst that I finished one of my best sales month at Angie’s List- a proud Indianapolis based company. Needless to say I feel awfully alive and like that this is changing the association of Naptown residence. I used to assume only NYC or Chicago had this type of feel, but thanks to the festivities Ive been on the go for 5 days straight and I like it!
With my coworker Randi, we walked on down from work on our lunch!
Yes I love Pauly D and everything Jersey Shore. Before you judge, I literally have been there almost every summer as a kid. My dad is Jersey and Im Italian, so watch it bro 🙂
Catching up with fellow instructor Erin for a spirit at the Bud Light Tent!
Downtown on a very cold night- no worries!
My boyfriends 5 hour crew+ spouses/partners 🙂
Finally, with my mom! We had a good ol time boogying to the Village People. She has incredible energy and quite the moves!
The event calendar is still going strong with acts from Darius Rucker, to En Vogue (one of my first CDs), and LMFAO. I even get to go to fancy party on Friday. We were put on “the list”…ooooh. Hope to get photos for you all there as well. I was concerned about my energy levels and being to have all this fun, not to mention eating habits. However to make sure I stayed on track Ive had plenty of on the go salads, light wraps or sandwhiches (places like subway and au bon pain are very calorie friendly), and of course my shakeology every day. The E&E took some adjusting at first, but I am really enjoying the all natural product and feel an extra boost when I teach towards the end of the class that I normally do not have!
Here are some fun little food concoctions Ive had over the week:
Grilled cheese, avocado, tomatoes and soup!
Oatmeal Pancake (egg white and oatmeal, plus better n peanutbutter, so good!)
Join me for the rest of the fitness shedule this week, I’ll be here, whats your excuse?:
